HOW TO GET YOUR BABY TO SLEEP THROUGH THE NIGHT?

The sleeping pattern and time will be different in babies. Some babies sleep for more than others some for a short duration. You should not teach your infants how to sleep and let them sleep as much as they want.

So the sleeping time, duration and position is up to the baby, all you have to do is provide them comfort and space they wanted.
First few months babies need 2 to 4 times of night feeding as their tiny stomach can not hold enough to keep full for a long period. So mother should learn to sleep when her baby falls asleep.During first few weeks, infants will let you know their attitude towards the sleep and you have to follow them accordingly.

4 to 6 month old babies are capable of sleeping about 6 to 8 hours uninterrupted and 9 month old babies can sleep up to 12 hours.
Of cause there are some tips and tricks that can be tried safely to make your baby get to sleep.

Make a bed time routine:

-Play active games during the day and quiet games in the evening. This keeps your baby from getting too excited right before bedtime.

-Make every activity calm and peaceful, especially towards the end of the routine.
Keep activities the same and in the same order, night after night.

-Make nighttime conditions in your baby's bedroom consistent. If she wakes up in the middle of the night, the sounds and lights in the room should be the same as when she fell sleep.

-Save your baby's favorite activity for last, and do it in her bedroom. This will help her look forward to bedtime and associate her sleep space with things she likes to do.
